Mother's Day

My neighbour gave me a wonderful card which says that I've been like a second mother to him. He and his partner took me out for an early breakfast as well and then the three of us took their dog to a county park within driving distance of our flats.

I think the dog was amazed by all the green space as well as the people, dogs and horse she encountered. She didn't do much other than look around. I had a hard time on the gravel surface and grass, much of which was uneven and rutted, but it was still nice to be outside. We did not get the rain predicted for today, so the slightly overcast skies and constant breeze were a pleasant change.

Just a bit ago,   someone gave my almost-like-a-son some Godiva-white-chocolate-dipped strawberries which he shared with me--a sweet treat on a sweet day. I hope all of the Mothers in blogland had a wonderful day, too.

Until Next Time...

These are the people who suggested you move with them?
They sound lovely...but i still don't think it's a good idea.

I can't imagine a dog being so overwhelmed by all the greenery that all she could do was look! I think most dogs would be romping around like lunatics, exploring everything in sight!
