No, No, No

Mercy is up to her old tricks. Introduce a treat, it is ignored or flatly refused. No dental treats, no gravies or toppers for added hydration, no lickables because she doesn't trust that they are in the same dish. Does changing dishes alter her fear? Nope. She is presently hiding. It has been dark, rainy and nasty and the dear girl slept through most of that so it has been a quiet day here.

After some chores and an early supper,  I've gone back to my library books, Play List for the Apocalypse by Rita Dove, and book number five of the Mrs. Pollifax series by Dorothy Gilman.

Have a good evening!

Mercy really has quite a repertoire. My favorite thing about Mrs pollifax is her fighting skills! She could go a few rounds with Mercy. Not saying who'd win, though.

Mercy has a statement to make, it seems. Perhaps you could rename her Gretta Garbo.

Mercy sure knows how to keep things interesting, doesn't she? It's like she has her own little world of preferences and fears! Hopefully, she'll come around eventually, but for now, it sounds like it's been a peaceful day at least. Your reading sounds like a nice escape, though—Play List for the Apocalypse sounds intriguing! I hope you get to enjoy the books and have a restful evening!

Cats are funny I hear when it comes to eating. We have pups and they not so much on the being picky or anything. Sometimes. Though rarely.
