Another Neme...

If I keep blogging so infrequently, you may stop popping in...

The temporary job ended after a three-month stint, so I am once more pounding the virtual pavement and beginning to consider additional graduate work, both of which may ultimately lead to moving from here...

I'm also writing, resuming my regular synagogue services and returning to exercise at the hospital twice weekly. Those of us in the Virtual Book Club have read an interesting trio of books, all with Paris-related themes, so if you're interested, check them out...

Additional medical and dental issues have come to light and options for both are being investigated. I had a fun time with a cute vampire at the clinic lab today following a doctor visit. The vampire left his mark not on my neck, but in the crook of my right arm...

The neme below is a fun one, borrowed from FRENCH FANCY and her friend fly, of the fly in the web.

1. What will you do while the World Cup is on?

I enjoy European football much more than its American counterpart, so I'll visit news and sports sites for information on the various teams...

2. What picks you up when you're down?

A good cup of tea and a chat with a friend, though my feline companions are always good for a cuddle and a laugh...

3. India or China--we're talking tea--not economies...

I'd have to say English or Irish for me when it comes to tea...

4. What do you value most about blogging?

The range of people and experiences I've encountered...I've met some very nice individuals in places I never thought I'd see or hear much about, and blogging is one of the best ways I've found to put faces and names to some of the issues of the day across the world.

5. What can't you throw out from your wardrobe?

My late grandfather's pyjamas.

6. Would you rather people did not ask your opinion on controversial issues?

My rule about asking such things is I only answer if I am comfortable with the person asking, otherwise, its a nonstarter.

7. Do you ever recommend people then wish you had not?

No. I avoid that potential quagmire entirely.

8. Do you own up to reading light novels or hide them beneath cushions when visitors arrive?

I read avidly and have wide ranging interests as well as a curious nature, so I do sometimes read what might be considered airplane fare for travellers or the book one can read while waiting in a queue at the post office, but not often. As I have no cushions under which to hide books, doing so would not occur to me.

9. Do you find yourself content with your own company or are you gregarious?

Increasingly, I am content with my own company, though I do enjoy my friends and try to treat them well.

10. What one thing would noticeably improve your life?

A job I enjoyed in a place I found liveable...

Until Next Time...
