Twitter For Gentle Folk: Postcard From Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, UK
Fellow blogger Alan Burnett at http://newsfromnowhere1948.blogspot.com, has started a new posting tradition. Entitled Twitter for gentlefolk, it celebrates the resurgence of the postcard and invites all interested bloggers to exchange postcards with Alan. These will be included in subsequent blog postings. Any other bloggers interested may also exchange postcards and post them as part of Twitter for gentlefolk.
The postcard Alan sent to me is a reproduction of one commemorating radio's Golden Age and D-day, 1944. Apparently, Alan and I are fans of radio, and I was delighted to receive his postcard.
